Information about Pigeon Forge Tennessee

Pigeon Forge

Located in Sevier County, Tennessee, Pigeon Forge is only five miles away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and provides cabin rentals with views you’d never seen before. In the past, Cherokee hunters used this narrow valley between the Shields, Pine and Cove mountains as the perfect hunting ground, but today visitors can take in its diverse array of local wildlife in the luxury of the area’s modern cabins while staying in close proximity to many other attractions and exhibits.

Attractions located right next to Pigeon Forge are the Dollywood theme park, Country Tonight Theatre, and the Comedy Barn, and on-running car and truck shows from April to September, such as the “Pontiac Car Club Show”, the “Great Smoky Mountain Truck Show”, and the “Cobra Mustang Club”, make Pigeon Forge a great place to visit year-round.

In addition to the natural beauty and exciting attractions, Pigeon Forge offers historical attractions highlighting its own local heritage. The Pigeon Forge Mill, from the which the town takes its name, still stands today in the same place it was founded in 1830, and has also been included in the National Register of Historic Places.

Bringing in more than 11 million tourists annually, Pigeon Forge not only offers great accommodations and attractions, but a fantastic atmosphere provided by the calming air of the Smokies and the people who live here, making Pigeon Forge a prime spot for the next family vacation.

Whether you’re into sports, hiking, come to see the local attractions or just taking in the natural beauty, Pigeon Forge is the place for you. Come rent a cabin and settle in for the vacation you’ve always wanted.
